The Lone Star High School football team has advanced to the Class 5A Division I state semifinals this Saturday (Dec. 14). The Rangers (14-0) earned the spot with a 38-20 victory over Lancaster that captured the Region II title.

Lone Star will play Denton Ryan High School at 2 p.m. Saturday at Allen's Eagle Stadium for a spot in the 5A Division I state championship game. Information for Saturday's game is below.
