The Lone Star High School Wrestling team had a solid weekend at the TCA Invitational, finishing as runner-ups in the team standings. AJ Thuenemann (132lbs) and Michael Gaisoa (220lbs) led the way with strong performances that resulted in championship finishes for the pair. Also making the championship finals were Deontaye Przekop (113lbs), Nick Woolston (170lbs), and Aaron Earp (195lbs). All three had tough opponents and finished as runner-up in their respective brackets. Also placing for the Rangers were Austin Feste (3rd at 138lbs) and Naseer Willis (4th at 145lbs).

The Ranger wrestlers are back in action this week against Reedy and Centennial on Thursday night, as well as participating in the Wolverine Invitational at Wakeland Friday night and Saturday.
